apartment 14, 33/1 Malyy Afanasyevsky Pereulok (side-street) Bed in a 10-person dorm: 699 roubles |
HMOne of the oldest Moscow hostels, known for the fancy moulding in the rooms, a crystal chandelier and some other details that point to the age of the block and the apartment itself. There are no double rooms here; instead there's a female dorm, a male dorm and a mixed 10-bed dorm — that's where the traces of old luxury are. There' s a huge jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, but most visitors prefer the shower. HM is a pretty good choice for extended stays: there's a fully equipped kitchen with all requisite utensils, a desktop computer, a hair dryer, an ironing board, a home-style lounge room with a little library and DVD collection. Another valuable thing about the HM is that it tries to mind the peace and quiet of guests, and late visitors are not allowed to be too rowdy. |
